For over a decade, Daria Masterman has been practising acupuncture and supporting people through a wide range of physical and emotional concerns. Her background includes private clinics, community multi bed settings, and voluntary work within NHS cancer services and fertility support programmes. Her approach is calm, attentive and centred on helping each person feel more balanced and supported.
Daria’s connection to healthcare began early in life. Both of her parents worked as Western medicine doctors, and her childhood often included neighbours seeking advice and reassurance from her mum or dad. This environment shaped her belief that caring for others is a natural part of daily life. When her mum later trained in Korean acupuncture, Daria was introduced to the practice in her late teens. This experience sparked a lasting interest in how Eastern and Western approaches can work together. She went on to complete a BSc (Hons) in Chinese Medicine at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, where she trained in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element acupuncture.
Daria continues to expand her therapeutic skills. She has recently completed specialist training in facial rejuvenation acupuncture and is developing her understanding of essential oils and how they can be used alongside traditional Chinese medicine treatments.
Now based in Dalston Junction, Daria offers a warm and welcoming space where people feel heard, cared for and supported throughout their treatment journey.
