HOLISTIC PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY
Chinese Medicine adopts a holistic approach to the patient. To treat you effectively, your acupuncturist will first take your personal case history, to understand more about your personality, character, habits and way of life before creating a unique tailored treatment plan to help you become whole again.
Daria undertook a four-year course in Chinese Medicine at the world-famous College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, UK.
She strives to ensure that Aculives holistic acupuncture clinic tailors bespoke treatments to help you.
Seasonal tip: Winter in Chinese Medicine – Water element season
Whether we like it or not, we are now officially in Winter season - days are shorter and cars are frosty in the morning. In Chinese Medicine this is a season governed by Water element with Kidneys being its primary organ. It should ideally be the time for quiet reflection and inward focus, gathering our intentions and resources before the rapid expansion and growth of Spring.
Kidneys are our powerhouse and root of our vital energy (Qi), Ability and cleverness are said to stem from this vital organ.
So I hope you find some time in your busy day for some self-care and grounding - curling with the book in your favourite armchair counts too!
"When you touch one thing with deep awareness,
you touch everything."
- Lao Tzu

ACUPUNCTURE
Using the antient art of Chinese Medicine combined with 5 Elements theory developed in the UK we are hoping to achieve our ultimate goal of bringing the "whole you" back.
ACU-FACIAL
Facial treatment using acupuncture to enhance your skin naturally. It can help smooth fine lines and wrinkles, boost collagen production through an inflammatory effect, lift sagging skin, boost blood circulation and generally boost the condition of the skin.
CUPPING
FERTILITY ACUPUCNTURE
Cupping can be used for relieving the muscular tension, moving "stuck" pathogens or invigorating your blood. This technique involves placing glass cups on your body by creating the suction and may leave characteristic circular marks (as seen on the backs of some Olympic sportsmen).
Research has been conducted into how acupuncture may boost natural fertility by:
-
balancing and regulating hormones

-
reducing stress levels
-
improving male fertility
